Robert Seibert
Minister
Robert began his work here in January 2010.
Robert met his wife while in the Navy. They were married in 1992. Their daughter, Gabrielle (Gabby), was born in Spring Hill, Florida, in 1999. While in Lake Park, Georgia, the Seiberts adopted 6 boys. Matthew, their oldest, is deceased. Robert and Monya have 11 grandchildren.
Robert attended International Bible College by video then went to Faulkner University. He finished his degree in 2005 at Heritage Christian University (formerly IBC).
Spring Hill was Robert's first preaching position. He has been a youth minister at Fernandina Beach, FL and at Greenbrier in Anniston, AL. He has worked in Lake Park, GA and in Huntsville, AL as pulpit, children's and educational minister. He has done mission work in Jamaica.
While in the Navy he served as the chaplain aboard the U.S.S. George C. Marshall, SSBN 654. After getting out of the Navy he became a youth minister and was involved with the Lads to Leaders program. He has served as the convention coordinator for Parade of Leaders, Parade of Winners, Advanced Speech, Sunday AM worship and assisted coordinating Song leading and Oral Bible Reading. Robert organized a program called Community Builders in New Hope, AL that allowed all the children 5th grade and down to build wooden toys donated by Home Depot and give them for Christmas presents to those in need.
He believes strongly in the Churches involvement in the community. While in Lake Park, GA he began and organized the towns first Christmas parade, which continues still, and organized their 4th of July festival.
